IN 2005 the Federal government awarded contract for the re- introduction of the Destination Inspection scheme.

Three companies including SGS, Global Scansystems Limited and Cotecna Destination Inspection Limited were appointed as service providers.

The contract was in three parts: Capacity for Customs, Risk Management System and Scanning operations.

Based on the terms of agreement the service providers are expected to design, implement, operate and maintain a computerized Risk Management System.

THE Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC)Dr. Eugene Juwah has said that a stable and competitive market with a level playing ground for all players is the goal of the commission.
