WestStar unveils new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Ambulance

SAFETY, comfort, efficiency, and perfect engineering have always been some of the many values and driving forces of Mercedes-Benz.
So it is not surprising that Weststar Associates Ltd, the Authorised General Distributors of Mercedes-Benz' in Nigeria has introduced the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 324 intensive care unit ambulance into the Nigerian automobile industry.
The Sprinter ambulance is equipped with reinforced suspensions and is simple to drive. Just like the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, it also scores highly in terms of its advanced 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission with torque conversion.
This has been enhanced to meet the specific requirements imposed for to deal with the extreme life and death situations of the intensive care unit ambulance. The ambulance shows off a 258 horse power and 5900 rpm petrol engine, which delivers lots of power and torque to ensure the crucial drive to the hospital is quick and safe. It also delivers low engine speed, low fuel consumption with minimum emissions. 
Being an ambulance, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 324 Intensive Care Unit is equipped with a lot of options to perform medical rescues and minor surgeries. The external equipment consist of the standard two blue rotating lights mounted on the left and right in the rear part, a beacon bar on the vehicle's roof with two rotating lights- red-red, loud speaker with microphone, and a wide and solid footstep made of aluminum checker plate at the rear entrance to aid easy entry and exit.
