WITH about 49 days to 2012 Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF), the organiser, the Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) explained why it is moving the 2012  LITF  to Tafawa Balewa Square, (TBS), in Lagos Island,  from its traditional Trade Fair Complex  ground along Badagry expressway.

Speaking with National Daily newspaper last week, the Vice President of Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Mr Babatunde Ruwase stated that the shifting of this year’s fair was because of on-going the road construction along that route.

Ruwase, who is also the Trade Promotion Chairman of the chambers noted that the idea to  shift 2012 trade fair to the TBS came when the chambers saw the hurdles both exhibitors and visitors crossed to and fro in year 2011 LITF due to road construction. “We are moving this year fair to TBS because we don’t want exhibitors and visitors to suffer the kind of stress they went through last year.”
