IT seems the pumps/platforms have refused, to give way to other shoe types, as it continues to hold the number one spot, on shoe charts world wide, in terms of red carpet shoes. This week we will explore other options, as it seems wearing pumps on the red carpet, is now considered boringly safe and can be termed fashion conservative. 

APART from the designers sewn team uniforms, fashion has taken a backseat for the more basic spirit of sports during the 17days Olympics , until the closing night ceremony, where fashion and music once again took centre stage and captured the minds of all and sundry.  Already termed 'a night of tribute to British Fashion/Music , elite models including, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson, Stella Tennant, Lily Cole and David Gandy, strutted down a Union Jack-shaped catwalk to David Bowie's 1980 song "Fashion.

I am she.....that sappy romantic whose heart is in her giving. Who risk it all for love time and time again, flinging her whole heart, soul, body, mind and entire being into the perceived man of her dreams.

Who sees the world through Rose tinted glasses, perceiving that which only conforms to her preconceptions of love, refusing to give in or cave in to cynicism, in a world ruled by cruelty, clinging tenaciously to her beliefs of love and hope.

THE peplum trend is one that has straddled, the fashion style charts for a while now, and has refused to go out of season globally. The allure of the peplum trend lies, not in its popularity but in the way, the style, brings out the hour glass shape, in almost every woman, regardless of her size or stature, while retaining the innate classiness, built into the style.

TWENTY two years old makeup artist turned designer Olajide Adedeji, of budding new fashion brand J Reason.  Who launched his label 9 months ago with his first men's line, has released the brand's second collection for men “Sartorial Summer”.
